Titan Environmental Surveys Ltd. was subcontracted by Gardline Ltd. on behalf of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency to undertake the nearshore element (Mean Low Water Springs to 20m Chart Datum) of the UK Civil Hydrography Programme.

This contract has brought a significant amount of work to Titan, creating the need for greater survey efficiency while maintaining high quality data collection. As a result, the decision was made to upgrade the Titan Discovery with a Dual Head Teledyne/Reson T-20P Multibeam Echosounder. 

​

Since the upgrade, the Discovery has been able to acheive 2-3 times more data coverage per day, allowing for faster, higher specification data collection at a lower cost to our future clients.

The 13 meter catamaran Titan Discovery, alongside the 15 meter Titan Endeavour are now market leading specialised survey vessels for the nearshore and coastal environments.
